How is the transatlantic partnership evolving under the current U.S. administration? With shifting American priorities and a recalibration of Washington’s global role, new responsibilities and opportunities are emerging for Europe.

As the U.S. reassesses its global engagement, Europe — including the Central and Eastern European region, is increasingly expected to take on a more proactive role in defense, industry, and technological development.

This discussion will focus on how these changes can strengthen transatlantic cooperation, support Ukraine, and enhance Europe’s resilience at a time of global uncertainty.

Confirmed Speakers:

  • Jörn Fleck — Senior Director, Europe Center, Atlantic Council
  • Giovanna de Maio — Head of Transatlantic Program, Policy Planning Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, France
  • Olena Sotnyk — Managing Director for Ukraine, Rasmussen Global

Moderator: will be announced soon

This event is organised by EUROPEUM as part of the Transatlantic Policy Forum.
