This panel explores fashion as a resource-intensive extraction industry and discusses innovative solutions – from biomaterials and circular textile systems to material experimentation, craftsmanship, and local production. The focus is on systemic change through sustainable materials, responsible production, and design innovation.

Sustainability is impossible without addressing the people behind fashion. This panel examines labor rights, fair wages, and working conditions in global textile production, particularly for women and marginalized groups. Bringing together perspectives from industry, journalism, and cultural leadership, it discusses responsibility, representation, and systemic change, asking: Who really pays the price for fast fashion, and how can we build a more just and equitable fashion system?
10 octobre 10h30-12h00 : Panel 3/Reimagining Systems
How can policy, business, education, and culture drive a more sustainable and equitable fashion industry? This panel explores how new business models, social entrepreneurship, responsible communication, education, and EU regulations can reshape the fashion system. It asks: Who benefits from the sustainable transition, and what kinds of systemic change are needed to create a truly just and resilient fashion industry?
