Dans le cadre de la Nuit des idées et à l’occasion du 30e anniversaire du CEFRES, l'Institut français de Prague et CEFRES vous invitent à la conférence « L’Europe centrale face aux risques : réinventer la solidarité ? ».
Face aux risques environnementaux, sécuritaires et désormais sanitaires auxquels l’Europe, en particulier l’Europe centrale, est confrontée, deux attitudes principales s’affrontent : le repli national et communautaire d’un côté, la solidarité nationale et internationale de l’autre. Comment (ré)inventer des formes de solidarité en Europe centrale ? Quelles expériences historiques peuvent-elles inspirer l’action publique aujourd’hui et définir les contours du vivre-ensemble ? Comment répondre aux défis que pose l’actuelle pandémie sur la cohésion sociale au sein des nations européennes mais aussi sur la cohésion de l’Union européenne elle-même ? Un historien français, un philosophe polonais et une journaliste tchèque partageront leur expertise et confronteront leurs points de vue sur ces questions cruciales aujourd’hui.

In the framework of the Night of Ideas and on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of CEFRES, the French Institute in Prague and CEFRES invite you to the online conference "Central Europe facing risks: reinventing solidarity?”
Given the environmental, safety and now health risks facing Europe, especially in Central Europe, two main attitudes are clashing: national and community withdrawal on the one hand, and national and international solidarity on the other. How can we (re)invent forms of solidarity in Central Europe? What kind of historical experiences can inspire public action today and outline the contours of living together? How can we answer to the challenges posed by the current pandemic to social cohesion within European nations but also to the cohesion of the European Union itself? A French historian, a Polish philosopher and a Czech journalist will share their expertise and confront their points of view on these crucial issues.
